A transdisciplinary layered model for assessing scope of action, responsibility, context, harm and need for protection — applied to a concrete action in a concrete context, never to a person as a whole. Four axes (degree of freedom, strain, context, harm and protection) plus a mandatory ten-point check against victim-blaming that must be completed before an analysis counts as methodologically sound. A documentation and reflection instrument, not an assessment: it replaces no legal, medical, psychological, forensic or therapeutic evaluation. All entries stay in the browser.

Searches across twenty archives, with a player, cutting and effects, a working folder and an archive register; a licence traffic light shows the rights status held in the archive metadata. A second station converts audio to MIDI and sets notation; a third lists 99 free sources across twelve channels. Nothing is uploaded — files stay on the device.

Unlike the other tools here, this one contacts external services — that is its purpose. Archive queries go out on user action; the transcription and notation libraries load from a public code repository. Statements about interfaces and licence status are a snapshot from July 2026 and should be checked against the primary source. The traffic light does not replace legal assessment.

A collection of 33 interactive tools, each built around a single misconception that it takes apart: that a lens always images sharply, that colour sits in the prism, that we see the things themselves. The strands run through optics (lenses, mirrors, prisms, slits, light sources, stage lighting), perception (Gestalt, bistable figures, geometric illusions, brightness contrast, opponent colours), acoustics (strings, resonance, spectrum, piano stretch), quantum optics, mechanics, and cross-domain pieces that show the same equation doing service in unrelated fields. Each tool has a companion research note as PDF, German throughout and English for most.

A paired optics laboratory. LUMEN holds 18 modules across six layers — astronomy (star map, solar position, lunar phases), light pollution (Bortle scale, sky brightness, SQM, VIIRS), atmospheric optics (halos, rainbows, aurora, twilight), wave optics, quantum optics, and a layer on perception. PLATON is a separate module: an optical reading of the cave allegory (Politeia VII) with an interactive 3D setup, a cave builder, a ten-point matrix of physical objections and a twelve-term translator between Plato and physics. Didactic and exploratory, not metrological: the VIIRS map is a synthetic visualisation rather than real GeoTIFF data, solar position is accurate to about 0.5°, and the double-slit module shows schematic patterns. The Plato module argues a position — that the allegory is physically underspecified — and says so.
